For those who may not be familiar with you yet, could you please introduce yourself and share a bit about who you are, both as an athlete and as a person?
I am a professional Squash player. My life mainly consists of training, travelling and competing. And I love it.

Other than that, I am someone who embraces challenges, has a pretty positive outlook on life, love my family and friends, and am the last person to leave the dance floor at any party.

What would you say are your proudest moments or biggest achievements in your career so far?
I like this question. Because it forces me to look back on how far I’ve come and the goals I’ve reached so far which, as an athlete, you don’t do very often, you’re always looking ahead, at the next target.

I’m a two-time European Champion, that’s always a special title to win. And in the last 4 months, I have won my 2 biggest World Tour titles to date in Singapore and New Zealand, and reaching a career high world ranking of number 4, as the first Belgian to ever do so. And I’m only just getting started!

What are your aspirations and goals for the future, both in your sport and beyond?
My goal has always been to reach the world number 1 spot and become World Champion. Since squash has been added to the LA 2028 Olympic Games, winning an Olympic gold medal is now also one of my biggest goals.

Other than that, I want to inspire younger generations to pick up a squash racket and to go after any dream they may have, the sky is the limit!

What drew you to our brand specifically, and how do you see it aligning with your personal values and goals?
I’d been familiar with Osaka for a while and always thought it was a really cool brand so when the opportunity arose to collaborate, I didn’t have to think twice. I think we can help each other grow and it’s a great way to introduce Squash to a wider audience. I also love it’s founded in Antwerp, so representing a brand close to home makes me feel extra proud.

What role do you see our brand playing in supporting you as an athlete, both on and off the field?
Obviously I’m gonna be the best dressed player on tour. Jokes aside, as a female athlete, the mantra is definitely “look good, feel good, play good” so I believe if we can work together closely, with my feedback and idea’s, and their experience and expertise, we can do something special and hopefully I can represent Osaka well in what I wear on and off the court.

How do you see the evolution of squash (in general) in the coming years?
As mentioned before, Squash has recently been included in the Olympic Games for 2028, so that has already given Squash a huge boost in terms of media attention. I think funding will increase for federations world wide aswell to support young, up and coming players which is an incentive for a lot more players to come through.
