Great technology | Questionable fit

I bought these shoes after a recommendation from a friend and tried on a pair briefly at a training session. The shoes have everything that you could look for in modern hockey shoes and the introduction of the last and hard rubber combination is brilliant. Obviously, they look fantastic.

Unfortunately, these shoes are incredibly narrow and seem to be made for people with the highest of arches, even when getting the standard fit. If you have flatter arches or normal/slightly wider feet expect some soreness once that has been on your feet for more than 30 minutes. I had similar feedback from teammates who had tried them out, although most of them thought the feel was something they could live with. As they made a narrow version (which seems a little overkill considering the width of the standard fit), it would be interesting to see if they will be making a wider-fitting shoe.

Added to bag.
