WHAT WAS THE COLLECTION COLLABORATION LIKE AND HOW INVOLVED WERE YOU

"I was involved throughout the entire development, from start to finish. I loved
being a part of this whole process and super proud of the finished product! "

HOW DO THE DESIGNS AND AVD LOGO REFLECT YOUR PERSONALITY

"I have spent many hours with Osaka & RedBull to perfect the final logo. We
wanted to make sure it reflects the way I am. It's minimalistic, yet strong and I love
the way it connects with who I am as a person."

YOU TALK A LOT ABOUT HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO HAVE THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT. DID YOU MANAGE TO CREATE PRODUCTS SUITABLE FOR TOP ATHLETES IN THE WORLD LIKE YOURSELF

"Equipment is very important for athletes. In 2017 Osaka engineered a type of stick
for me that I absolutely love and I have been playing with it ever since. Every year
we improve and develop to make it a little bit better. With the AVD range, we
have achieved this again. It is special to me because feelings on the pitch are
crucial for me. And during the game, it looks and feels perfect."

HOW DO YOU STYLE THE SWEATER THAT IS IN THE COLLECTION

"It's awesome how the piece can be worn casually but also sporty. The fit is baggy,
nice, and comfortable which reflects my personal style!"

HOW DID YOU FEEL ABOUT WINNING THE GOLD OF THE OLYMPICS FOR FIELD HOCKEY AFTER THE POSTPONEMENT OF IT

"Winning the Olympics was always our biggest dream. We came out of a very
successful period with the team and wanted to give our best shot to get the
gold in Tokyo. Covid decided otherwise at first but we kept believing and training for
a chance at gold. And got our happy ending in Tokyo. "

ARE YOU ALREADY LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT OLYMPIC GAMES AND DID YOU ALREADY START TRAINING AGAIN

"We started back with Bloemendaal a few weeks after returning from Tokyo. I
like that we are back and in search of new goals. "

WHAT DO YOU WANT AVD TO STAND FOR AND ITS FUTURE PLANS

"Future plans aren’t written down yet but I still feel hungry for more success. And as
for AVD, I have always loved inspiring the younger generation and hope that we
created something cool and awesome for them to dream of."
